Domiana Martinez

Domiana Martinez, 73, of San Saba passed away on Tuesday, January 02, 2024. She was born in San Saba, to Roman and Hilaria Coronado on April 12, 1950.

She graduated from San Saba High School May of 1969. She married her husband, Rudy Martinez, December 31, 1971. She attended Texas Southern University where she received her CDA. She was a teacher's aide for three years in San Saba school district. Domiana work as an aid at the San Saba nursing home. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Mary's at St. Mary's Catholic Church in San Saba, Texas. Domiana loved to cook and bake and was best known for her chocolate sheet cakes.

Domiana was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Hilaria Coronado; two brothers; seven sister; and granddaughter, Malena Vasquez.

Domiana is survived by her husband, Rudy Martinez; daughter, Dena and husband Macario Vasquez; son, Rudy Rene and wife Shawnee Martinez; son, Jesus Ray Martinez; grandchildren: Ike and Danessa Morrison, Saveria Vasquez, and Macario Vasquez Jr.; three great-grandchildren: Addilyn Morrison, Isaac Morrison, and Isabel Morrison; brother, Hermaino Coronado: two sisters; Juana Coronado, and Udelia and husband Anselmo Maldonado.

Rosary was held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 7:00-8:00 p.m. Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in San Saba. Burial at San Saba City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Marcus Ramos, Jacob Perez, Hector Martinez, Hector Lopez Jr., Bryon Riggs, Michael Aragon, Johnny Saldivar, and Joey Tijerina.
