Clay was born to Jerry and Dixie Turner on September 9, 1971, in San Saba, Texas. He attended school in San Saba where he graduated in 1992. Clay enjoyed many things in life including being outdoors, and his job made it possible for him to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible being an employee of a State Park. He was a hunter, fisherman, and often loved to dig for arrowheads. Among his many hobbies, he also loved to paint and draw. Clay will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Clay is survived by his parents, Jerry and Dixie Turner of San Saba, Texas; two sons: Brent Turner and wife Angelle of Fort Worth, Texas, and James Turner and wife Ciarra of Millington, Tennessee; four grandkids: Jensen, River, Elora, and Rowan; three brothers: Chad Turner of Colorado, Chris Turner and wife Shelli of San Saba, Texas, and Cody Turner and wife Haley of Hamilton, Texas; paternal grandmother: Peggy Turner of San Saba, Texas; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Clay is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dewey Turner, and maternal grandmother, Dora Silva.
