Chyenne Skaggs

Chyenne Elaine Skaggs 33, of Cherokee, Texas, passed away at Asencion Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas, on March 05, 2024.

Chyenne was born on July 08, 1990, to Charles Wimberley Jr. and Angela Mason in Austin, Texas. A graduate of Cherokee High School, she spent her early years in Marble Falls and then Richland Springs before moving and settling down in Cherokee. Chyenne met Matt Skaggs who she married and spent seven years with. A stay-at-home mom, she loved spending time with her daughter, Stoklee; together they would bake many sweet treats for the family to enjoy. Chyenne collected owls as a hobby and raised animals as a pastime. She will be missed by many.

Chyenne is survived by her husband, Matt Skaggs of Cherokee; her daughter, Stoklee; her father, Charles Wimberley Jr. of Marble Falls; two brothers: Josh Mason of Cherokee, and Corey Wimberley of Pennsylvania; her grandmother, Helen Mason of San Saba; four aunts: Ruby, Evelyn “Dunk,” Vivian “Missy,” and Mary Ann, all of Marble Falls; two uncles, Scott Mason of Kerrville and Thomas Mason of San Saba; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Chyenne is preceded in death by her mother, Angela Mason, and her grandfather, William Harold Mason.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home, 143 Nixon Lane in San Saba.
