Bobby Dean Rich, 81, passed away on December 6, 2024, in Austin, Texas. He was born on November 9, 1943, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Hubert Edward, Berinece McNeill Rich.
Bobby has resided in Austin for the last 37 years. He was employed as a clerk for the federal government and retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 2014 with 21 years of service. He was then employed as a clerk at the University of Texas in Austin. He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Austin.
Bobby is preceded death by parents. He is survived by numerous cousins, a special cousin, Dorothy Kennedy of Fort Stockton, special friends and former co-workers, Joe Robertson, Lydia Butschek of Spicewood, Ken and Sherry Bennett of Pflugerville, David Hamerly of Austin, Bill McCullough, neighbor, of Austin.
Graveside rites were held on December 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the China Creek Cemetery, conducted by Joe Robertson.
