Billy Joe Higginbotham

Billy Joe Higginbotham, 91, of Richland Springs, Texas, passed away at the Pecan Bayou Nursing and Rehabilitation on April 08, 2024. His wishes were to be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.

Billy Joe Higginbotham was born on November 07, 1932, in San Saba, Texas, to Will and Ethel Higginbotham. He attended San Saba High School where he graduated and went on to proudly Madison.

serve in the U.S. Army. Billy worked at Bell Helicopter as an electrician and retired after 30 years in the field. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Billy is survived by two sons: David Higginbotham and wife Cindy of Richland Springs, and Ricky Higginbotham and wife Bernadette of Ft. Worth; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews along with extended family and many close friends. He is also survived by his first and favorite greatgrandchild, Billy is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Higginbotham, who passed away eight years ago.
