Jeanette White age 78, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at San Saba Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born in Amherst, Texas, to Roy C. Thacker and Bettye Faye (Shavor) on July 11, 1944. Jeanette attended school in Midland, Texas, and she graduated from Richland Springs High School. Later, she attended Nursing School in Killeen, Texas, where she obtained her Registered Nurse Degree. She worked at the San Saba Nursing Home for over 30 years and in Llano in her later years. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States with Jim. Jeanette never met a stranger, and everyone that knew her loved her. She loved her family dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jim White of 41 years of San Saba, Texas; children Kevin and wife Rebecca Land of Coleman, Texas, and Lisa Hubert and husband Allen of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren: Danna Boswell and husband Matt of San Saba, Texas, and Klint Land of San Saba, Texas; great-grandchildren: Edith and Anlee Boswell of San Saba, Texas; one sister Pam Dunlap of Midland, Texas; one niece Brittany; and two nephews Brent and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the San Saba County Friends of Animals or The Ministerial Alliance of San Saba, Texas.
