Arley Wayne Gage, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Arley was born in San Saba, Texas, on January 22,1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Malveena Gage; and brother, Gerald Gage. He is survived by: his sister, Judy Sloan; brother, Jimmy Gage; and brother, Joel Gage and wife Dolores Gage; nieces: Carey Greene of Dripping Springs, Texas; and Kristi Sanchez of San Saba, Texas; nephews: Todd Gage of Austin, Texas, and Roger Hamrick of San Saba, Texas.
As a young man, Arley was employed by the State Board of Control in Austin, Texas. He then worked in telephone line construction, traveling to several states. Tiring of all the travel, Arley returned to San Saba to work for Leonard Brothers in Big Valley.
His remaining years were spent on his hobby - collecting and maintaining his vintage cars.
