Apolonio "Polo" Coronado was born April 10, 1944, to Roman & Hilaria Coronado in San Saba, Texas. He was the 10th of 13 children. He loved his siblings and parents deeply and shared stories from his childhood that often made his grandkids laugh. Many people knew him as Polo or PC, and his grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandson knew him as popo.

He married Susana Flores on January 17, 1964, in San Saba, Texas. They had five children: Diana and Marcos, Bertha and Emilio, Claude and Linda, Sandra and Luis, and Laura and Juan. They also had 18 grandkids, 25 great-grandkids, and 1 great-greatgrandson, Mateo Ramos.

Polo practiced tough love with his family and was strict with them because he had high expectations and hopes for them. He worked very hard and provided for his family very well. The family spent a lot of time together from work stuff like harvesting pecans, to fun stuff like having cookouts, fishing, camping, riding ATVs, playing cards, and traveling. He was a great husband, father, and popo and will be missed dearly.

Besides spending time with his family, Polo had a passion for playing cards with his poker buddies and gambling at the casinos. He also enjoyed sitting and visiting with his friends and family and telling funny stories.

On November 30, 2020, Polo passed away at the hospital. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandson, brother, sisters, numerous nieces, and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of San Saba.
