In 2023, KAB is celebrating the Great American Cleanup’s 25th year, so You’re Invited to celebrate as a volunteer in your community.
Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) In 2023 the Don’t mess with Texas Trash Off, a part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s litter prevention program, which includes Don’t mess with Texas, andAdopt-a-Highway holds their community cleanups between April 1 -30; therefore, as an affiliate of KAB and KTB, Keep San Saba Beautiful (KSSB) invites you to be a part of these great programs as a KSSB volunteer: KSSB cordially invites you to the Great American, Don’t Mess With Texas, City-Wide Cleanup.

• TIME: 9 am to Noon Come, bring your friends, and enjoy the morning giving back to the community.
Snacks, water, and lunch will be provided for registered volunteers. Several prizes will be awarded, for instance, to the individual finding the Most Unusual Trash Item and to the person submitting the most bags of trash collected.
Other prizes will be awarded to the top three contenders in the Plastic Beverage Bottle Recycling Challenge of which entries are submitted on cleanup day. For more details, call 325-372-5200.
The San Saba transfer Site and Recycle Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for FREE drop-off of residential trash from City and County Residents. Vehicle tires (no rims) will be accepted for a fee of $1 per tire up to a maximum of 10 tires.
