The Heart of Texas Music Association and host Country Music DJ Tracy Pitcox are presenting the 34th Heart of Texas Country Music Festival, from March 23 to April 1, 2023, in Brady, Texas.
“The Heart of Texas Country Music Festival is a great time for fans of Traditional Country Music to gather and hear the music they enjoy,” said Tracy Pitcox, event organizer. “It is like a family reunion, allowing the fans and the artists to gather and celebrate great music.”
Over 10 days, the Festival will host 22 shows, dances and performances at three venues in and around Brady. Featured country music stars and legends include Gene Watson, Gary P. Nunn, Darrell McCall, Tony Booth, Jeannie C. Riley, Dottsy, Justin Trevino, Jake Hooker, Jody Nix and 17 other popular acts.

Tracy Pitcox is an award-winning Texas Disc Jockey with an international following of his traditional country music programs, interviews, and books. He is host of “Hillbilly Hits” and founder of the Heart of Texas Country Music Museum in Brady, Texas, which displays memorabilia from over 100 country music entertainers including Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Thompson, and even Jim Reeves’ 1956 tour bus.
The 1000-member Heart of Texas Country Music Association promotes regular live shows at such venues as the Odeon Theater in Mason and the Texas Theater in Seguin.
