Playing for her hometown audience, classically trained harpist Emily Jumes Oskins, accompanied by baritone vocalist Collin Junes, will perform here Sunday, February 19, when the Fredericksburg Music Club (FMC) presents the organization’s fifth of eight programs scheduled for the 2022-23 concert season.
Seating for the 3:00 p.m. concert in the sanctuary of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano, will begin at 2:30 p.m. on a firstcome, first-served basis. The performance is free, although goodwill offerings are welcome.
Planned for the afternoon performance will be a varied program ranging from classical works by Handel to spiritual pieces like “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Amazing Grace” and contemporary works like an Elvis Medley, “Stairway to Heaven” (by Led Zeppelin), “Edelweiss” (by Rodgers and Hammerstein) and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” (by Simon and Garfunkel).
