Hill Country Cattle Women win third place in Fredericksburg’s Light the Night Christmas Parade

On December 2, 2022, the Hill Country Cattlewomen (HCCW) won a third-place ribbon for their float “Cattlewomen Through The Decades.” It featured members dressed in costumes depicting the attire of cowgirls throughout seven different decades honoring the hard-working cattlewomen who came before them giving a sense of history to the beef industry in Texas. The float was 13th in the line up of over 140 entries.

The HCCW members join a community of women committed to preserving the Texas ranching heritage.

The goal of Hill Country Cattlewomen is to promote and support the production of beef and the beef industry through cooperation with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raiser Association ( TSWCRA), American National Cattlewomen ( ANCWA), Texas Cattlewomen (TCWA), and local beef supporters. HCCW supports private property rights and encourages federal and state legislation that will maintain and protect property rights.
