This Saturday, October 15th, I hope to see many of your faces at the Annual Bend Fundraiser. I always have such a good time at our community events! Info below: “The final countdown...we are 10 days away from our Annual Fundraiser! This will include Schnitzel, Hot German Potato Salad, and Brown Mushroom Gravy. If you don’t like gravy, don’t worry; there will be lemon slices available. To-go boxes will also be available.
Don’t forget our Cake Auction and Silent Auction. We will also have our 2nd Annual Cake Judging Contest. Please have your cakes for judging at the Schoolhouse at 3:00 p.m.

I had quite the busy week with football games and traveling to see family. My little sister, Bethany, delivered my newest niece, Blake Marie, last Thursday, October 6th. My family and I would like to request some prayers for her. Baby Blake is having a bit of a rough start and has been in the NICU since last Friday.
Ms. Tommie Marley is back home and doing better. I believe Jerome Meischen is back home now as well! It’s been such a crazy week that I might have dreamed that, haha.
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Cherokee on their awesome win against “the opponents!” My voice is still hoarse from the football game! How exciting to break a 21-year streak and whoop the snot out of Richland Springs! It’s been a long time coming, that’s for sure!
