Receipts totaled 3,127 head for the week. The market started the week quite a bit softer, but on Thursday the market improved on the better-quality cattle. The stocker steers were $3-$5 lower except on the lighter weight, and real fleshy ones they were $8$12 lower than the week before. The stocker heifers were steady except on the real light weight, and fleshy ones which were $4-$8 lower. The feeder steers were mostly steady with 8 steers 690 lbs $162.00 ($1117.80). The feeder heifers were mostly $5-$7 lower with 18 heifers 676 lbs $150.00 ($1014.00). The packer cows were $5-$6 lower and bulls were lower. Pairs and bred cows were steady.
