My great grandson, Camden who lives in Franklin, Tennessee, was two years old on August 3rd, the day before Larry's birth date. I saw Camden on a video opening the present I gave him. I love phone calls and videos when you can't be where the special events are. My daughter Jenny and husband Bill took me to dinner on August 4th. I got a report on their trips to Washington D.C. and Colorado recently.
I have enjoyed getting in contact with people since moving back to Ohio from San Saba, Texas. I sent a Christmas greeting to Debbie Miller near Lancaster, Ohio, and was disappointed that it came back marked 'vacant.' I thought she could have moved, was in a nursing home, or died. Yesterday afternoon, I drove to Lancaster and stopped at a neigh- bors home and was relieved that he had talked to Debbie recently. She called her on the phone so I talked to her. So praise the Lord that she gets her mail at a post office now and is very much alive and well. We ate dinner and reminisced being in Mexico where she was a speaker at Entremiento De Fe and helped financially. We plan to get together regularly.
Last week after talking to Diana who lives in San Saba, we both felt better sharing past times, concerns and friendship.
