Raymond C. Medrano Sr., 77, of Comfort, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 3, 2022.
Raymond was born on July 5, 1945, in a tent (a fact he was very proud of) and spent his childhood fishing, hunting, and most importantly working to help provide for the family.
He loved being outside, enjoyed his abundant family, and going to his grandchildren’s games, practices, and school events. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan through and through. Raymond retired from Mueller Brass and acquired many skills throughout the years. He was most happy working with his hands.
Raymond was an amazing father to his three children: Raymond Jr. (JoAnn), Michael (Jen), and Rita (Michael Schlaufman). He also leaves behind his sister, Victoria Contreras (Bruno); his grandchildren: Nicole, Joey, Jasmine, Ashley, Joshua, Christian, Raymond III, Emiliano, and Lilly; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Raymond has gone to heaven to be with his mother and father, Rita and Luther Medrano; brothers, Ernest and Phillip Medrano; sister, Mary Sanchez; grandson, Adrian Ray Medrano; and greatgranddaughter, Ocean Rae Provost.
