Alice in Wonder Land

On Saturday, May 28th, I got a call that my sister-in-law, Flora, was in the hospital here in Zanesville, Ohio. I was in Millersburg, Ohio, when I got this call where I put flowers on my two infants' graves and visited friends. Flora fell in her kitchen and fractured her hip. She is rehabing at a facility two minutes from where I live, so I have been able to visit and pray with her every day.

On Friday, June 3rd, my daughter, Jenny, took me and her mother-in-law, Judy, to Newark where we ate dinner and then saw the musical play 9-5. We all had a great time.

I am enjoying a bouquet of flowers that my niece, Tina, gave me Saturday, June 4th, along with a 'Thinking of you, Aunt, on your birthday' card and took me out to lunch. She is a very special niece.

On Facebook there was posts about activities at Risien Park sponsored by The Fathers House on Memorial Day. It looked like an inspirational and fun-filled day. Also posted was a video of Pastor Tom Brand accepting the (well deserved) Rotarian The Four Way Test Award. Then later were posts that Amanda Brand presented of a mission trip to San Fernando, Mexico, with her family and Pastor Tom and Cynthia. How great it was to see and hear Michael Brand speaking and Pastor Gabriel interpreting. Pastor Gabriel is a graduate of the Bible Training School in San Fernando that my husband Larry Smith raised funds and workers to build.

Yesterday, I attended the firs of five concerts by The Zanesville Memorial Concert Band at the Zane's Landing Park. The director lives across the street from me here in the Colony Hill Condos. I talked to him after the concert. He did not remember me but said 'oh yes, you are the one with the big dog'. Ellie is ALWAYS remembered :).

The Apostle Paul gave Greetings and Benediction in 2 Corinthians 13:11-14..........

Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. Amen.
