On May 15th, Heaven opened its gates to welcome another special angel, Grace Marie Hardman. Grace was born in Andice, Texas, to Pete and Matie Joyce on December 15, 1923. Grace had a big passion and love for the Lord and could recite her Bible from Genesis through Revelations. Grace had a deep love for her family and grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them. Grace was also known for her delicious pecan pralines. On May 15th, Grace was reunited with the love of her life, Harold Hardman.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Matie Joyce; her beloved husband, Harold; and one granddaughter, Stacey Bernal. She is survived by two sons: Joey and wife Dianne Hardman of Brady, Texas, and Garland and life partner Catherine Sutphen of Round Rock, Texas; two grandsons: Bradley and wife Mary Hardman of Mansfield, Texas, and Heath and wife Lauren of Stephenville, Texas; six great-grandchildren: Bailey Hardman, Mason and wife Hannah Hardman, Wylie Hardman, Hayze Hardman, Kaden Bernal and Karson Bernal; and one great-great-grandchild, Dawson Grace Hardman.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas. The Funeral Service is Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Bible Church, 5002 FM 45, Richland Springs,Texas, with Bill Slaymaker officiating.
Interment will be at Holt Cemetery. Pall Bearers: Bradley Hardman, Heath Hardman, Mason Hardman, Dennis Hardman, Chris Joyce, and David Hardman.
Services are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, San Saba, Texas.
