Enedina Marisol Diaz "Tito" of San Saba, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Killeen, Texas. Enedina was born on December 15, 1970, in San Saba, Texas, to Juan G. Diaz Sr. and Carmen Vasquez. Enedina attended and graduated from San Saba High School. She worked as a Nursing Home Administrator in San Saba, Texas, at Eventide Nursing Home for over seven years. She then worked for Sava Senior Care in Bangs, Texas, for six years. She came back to San Saba to work for Daybreak Venture also known as San Saba Nursing and Rehab for over three years and nine months. Enedina attended San Angelo University and obtained a BBA in Business and St. Phillips College for a CE for LNFA for Nursing Administration. She loved working at the nursing home; the staff and the patients were her family. Enedina was a caregiver and was always helping others. She enjoyed quiet time and her animals. Enedina was a member of the San Saba County E.M.S. She also was a member of the Rotary Club from 2005 to present and received the Paul Harris Fellow award. She loved her family, and her nieces and nephews were her children. She loved going sightseeing with her mom.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her mother, Carmen Vasquez; brother, Daniel Diaz of Amarillo, Texas; David Diaz and wife Ramona of Dumas, Texas; sister, Diana Flores and husband Edward of San Saba, Texas; sister, Elvia Trevino and husband Albert of Amarillo, Texas; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Juan Diaz Sr.; brother, Juan Diaz Jr.; sister, Anita Diaz; and brother, Arnie Diaz.
Visitation was held Sunday, May 8, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Chapel in San Saba, Texas. Funeral Service, officiated by Brother Tom Brand, was held Monday, May 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at The Father's House in San Saba, Texas, with Interment at San Saba Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.
