Alice in Wonder Land

Friday evening, I will be going to a presentation by the Cornerstone Church in Duncan Falls portraying the life and death of Jesus Christ of Nazareth around 2,000 years ago. I am looking forward to this.

Here is another poem by my dear friend Clara Kish who was a member of our church, Abundant Life Ministries at Hopewell, Ohio.

When Angel's Cried

The Angel's must have cried a river / knowing what Jesus must soon go through.

Their heart's carried a heavy burden / with thoughts that were sad and blue.

The angel's were prepared to help Jesus. / However they had to stand still with folded wing.

By ten thousands they were waiting near / and there was nothing they could do. Not a thing!

Because Jesus had come to earth with God's blessings / He knew exactly what He had to do.

It would be something that made the angel's cry, / because they knew what Jesus would go through.

Now all tears are dried because it is over. / Although the angels can never forget the past, / they are busy now in Heaven for the Coronation / because Jesus will be coming back as King at last!

Clara Kish 12/14/98 At the end of one of Pastor Larry Smith's sermons he said “Christians should live like Jesus is coming back tomorrow and work like it will be 100 years.”
