Alice in Wonder Land

Last Tuesday, March 22, was the last concert performance of the Zanesville Concert Association for this season. It was the Velocity Dance of Ireland with four Tap Dancers accompanied by a great five-member band. It brought back memories of when I enjoyed dancers/actors Shirley Temple and Fred Astaire. It was an evening where I could block out what is going on in the world today such as wars and rumors of wars, tornadoes and hurricanes, flooding and drought, rising cost of living and health conditions (covid). Thinking about these conditions can bring us down. However, God is always there to say “GET UP!” How thankful as a Christian I can put my hope and trust in Jesus, belong to a church for support, and proclaim His guidance and love to others.

After coming home from the concert, I sat down and took off my shoes and realized that I had two different black shoes on my feet. I would be so embarrassed if anyone noticed this, so I am not going to tell anyone. :)

Only me, myself and I can decide what I will think, do, or say. I like the Splenda zero calorie sweetener packets that have inspirational quotes on them. I will list a few of them: Yes YOU CAN; Leave a little sparkle wherever you go; CREATE your own sun-shine; YOU GOT THIS!; Be your best today!

Proverbs 27:9 Ointment and perfume delight the heart, and the sweetness of a man's friend gives delight by hearty counsel. (Thank you, Marsha, for your hearty counsel).
