MOE Basketball (17-5) would travel to Brownwood, Texas, on March 18/19 to take part in the 5th/6th grade girls division of the 2022 Lady Lions basketball tournament. MOE would have its hands full as they would enter the tournament with a very depleted squad. Due to spring break, illnesses, and injuries, MOE would only carry five original team members into the tournament. In "ALL" 22 games played this year, MOE has yet to field its complete team roster at a single game. MOE would have wins over Dublin and Comanche to advance to the championship game against tournament host Brownwood. MOE would have a decisive 26-11 win over the Lady Lions, to win its third tournament championship in a row.
