Becky Lynn Vaughn was born in Fort Worth, Texas, September 25, 1953. She died in Burnet, Texas, December 10, 2021. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Henry Vaughn, and mother, Nell Mabry Vaughn, both formerly of San Saba; and her son, JD Gray, of Reno, Nevada.
She had a varied work career. Becky was a partner in a water well-drilling business, worked sales in the Texas oil patch, and for many years assisted in a Reno dermatology clinic. Health problems forced her to retire early. In retirement, she enjoyed her plants, her dogs and making friends wherever she went.
Becky is survived by her daughter-in-law, Angee Gray of Reno; brother, Hardy Vaughn and wife Kathy of Burnet, Texas; brother, Randolph Vaughn and wife Mary, of Del Rio, Texas. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephew, her cousins, and her friends.
The family plans a private service.
