(From the San Saba Business Women's League) – The Rest Room committee reported some half dozen applicants for matron and on a ballot, Miss Walters was unanimously elected as matron of the Public Rest Room of the San Saba Court House. The committee was instructed to at once purchase necessary furnishings for the room and Miss Walters will take charge. It is hoped that everything will be spick and span by the first of the month and all abuses of furniture and uncleanly manners and habits will be reported by the matron. The San Saba Business Women's League wants the public to use the rest room and lavatories at all times, but abuse and filth on the floor is strictly prohibited, and will be fined. Arrangements for children too small to use the stools will be made, and mothers are warned not to use the floors of the room for little children to abuse. This means you.
