Rosemary Sanchez was born December 22,1959, to Mary and Eliseo Sanchez of Bronte, Texas. Rosemary passed away peacefully at her home in Gallup, New Mexico, on June 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as her brothers: James, Eliseo, George and Moses. She is survived by her children: Robert and Guille Nieto of Brownwood, Texas; Joseph and Emily Nieto of Gallup, New Mexico, and Erica and William Monroe of Brownwood, Texas. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Rosemary's life’s work and mission was all about family. She worked as a home health aide as well as in various retail jobs. As much as she could, she helped raise her grandchildren as well. She was known for being the type of lady who was always willing to sit and have a cup of coffee with you.
A memorial service is to be held at Shiloh Bible Church in Richland Springs, Texas, on June 6, 2021, at 2 p.m., and all are welcome. Social distancing measures will be taken in order to protect the health of all of Rosemary’s friends and family. Please do not come if you are not feeling well. If you have had a recent history of coronavirus, or any symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose or congestion, or the loss of the sense of taste or smell, please stay home. Masks are recommended and encouraged for this indoor event.
