Lorena Terry, age 90, of San Saba, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at home. Lorena was born on June 19, 1930, in San Saba, Texas, to Eli and Dovie (Smith) Rawls. Lorena was married to Darel T. Terry on December 22, 1946, in San Saba, Texas. Lorena was a longtime resident of San Saba County, and she was employed by Harry Shapiro at Harry’s Western Wear and Ladies Store for many years. Lorena and David Parker later owned and operated Harry’s from 1982-2006 when they both retired. She was the face of Harry’s, and she could often be seen behind the counter or in the office tending to store business. Lorena’s smile was always warm and caring. She loved her family, extended family, and her loving companion, “Jane.”
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Kendal Terry and wife Josie of Comanche, Texas; grandchildren: Jared and Autumn Bowen of San Saba, Texas, Kacey and Brandi Terry of Abilene, Texas, Jon and Jolynn Willson of Brownwood, Texas, Emily Sprawls and husband Seth of St. Croix, Wisconsin, and Mekalia Terry of San Saba, Texas; grandchildren: B.J. Craine and Amy Swears, Pudge and Yesenia Rodriguez, Chad Eoff and Jessica Estrada, Scott Shillings and Terry, Nathan Serna and Stacy Swears and Josh Swears; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darel T. Terry; one brother, Jimmy Lee Rawls; and one daughter-in-law, Vicki Terry. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 27,
