Zanda Lloyd Coleman was born on October 4, 1952, to Wanda Myrle Woods and Lloyd Coleman. Zanda was the oldest of eight children. Zanda went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2020, at San Saba Nursing and Rehab where he was reunited with his parents and beloved wife Kathy. Zanda grew up all over central Texas and spent the majority of his life in San Saba, Texas. Zanda was a jack of all trades and could often be found cutting wood and mowing lawns. Zanda loved his family very much and was especially close to his mom and sisters. Zanda never had children of his own but helped raise his nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. The smallest things brought joy to Zanda. He loved horses, his dogs, going fishing, watching westerns on TV, and just getting in the car to go for a ride.
Zanda leaves behind to cherish his memory two brothers: Haven Woods of Brownwood, Texas, and Zane Woods and wife Loretta of Brownwood, Texas; three sisters: Donna Key and husband James Gay of Florida, Delilah Skaggs and husband Reyes Garcia of San Saba, Texas, and Wanda Yarbrough and husband Dewayne of San Saba, Texas. Zanda was preceded in death by wife, Katherine Coleman; maternal grandparents, Albert Jason and Annabel Baird Clopton; his parents, Floyd and Wanda Myrle Woods; one sister, Anna Marie Woods; three nieces and several aunts and uncles.
A Graveside Service was held on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Wallace Creek Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Sam Crosby officiating. Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba, Texas was in charge of arrangements. “FLY HIGH COWBOY”.
