This year - 2020 - marks the Toughest 10K in Texas’ 40th year. A favorite event for competitors of all ages, this year the race is now part of the Centex Race Series. Runners travel nationwide to attend this hilly race held during the Annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival because of the challenge the course provides. This race is hosted by The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, and all proceeds benefit the Lampasas County Community. This years’ event will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2020. The race begins at 7 a.m. and will start and finish at the Hancock Park Golf Course Pavilion in Lampasas. The race will also feature a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run as we encourage people of all ages to come out and participate.

Precautions are being put into place to ensure a safe and healthy event. Race organizers are doing everything they can to keep registrants and the community safe. Due to health guidelines for an event of this nature, during this time, we are encouraging attendees to take the necessary measures to social distance, wear masks and to abide by CDC and event recommendations.

Early-registration entry fees are $15 (1 Mile Fun Run), $25 (5K Run) and $35 (10K Run). The entry fee increases $5 per individual after June 24th, and T-shirts are limited past that date. Race-day registration is available from 5:30-6:30 a.m. the morning of the race at the Golf Course Park Pavilion.

All races will be timed and scored. Medals will be given for the first three places in each age group for the 5 & 10K. Come be a part of a Lampasas tradition and join runners from near and far as they run in one of the Toughest routes in Central Texas.
