Jeffrey Lane Berry passed from this life unexpectedly on September 16, 2026, after several years of health issues. Jeff was born in Austin, Texas on February 4, 1969, to Bobby and Shirley Berry. He grew up helping at his dad’s boarding stables and ranching. A true Cowboy, he went on to graduate from Angelo State with a degree in Range and Wildlife Management. He always worked with his hands and enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle. He loved to hunt and fish. He often told stories of his buddies and their adventures.
His closest friends growing up were Brett Jackson and David Odem. They were a trio of energy and at times mischief that required all three sets of parents to raise them. David passed this life at 23, and Brett passed recently at age 53. Heaven is probably a lively place with these three united.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Nicole Berry, parents Bobby and Shirley Berry, older brother Keith and his wife Sheila Berry, nephew Sheldon and Brandy Berry, niece Shelby and Kendall Badon, stepchildren Elizabeth and Jesse Miller, Garrett and Sydney Castleberry and the light of his life, granddaughter Madeleine Miller.
