The Richland Springs Lady Coyotes showed determination and resilience over the weekend at the Lometa Hornet Hive Classic Volleyball Tournament. After suffering tough losses during Thursday’s opening matches, the Lady Coyotes regrouped and came back ready to compete.

Richland Springs battled its way through Saturday’s matches, putting together a strong run that earned the team a spot in the tournament championship. The Lady Coyotes showed tremendous fight and teamwork throughout the day, ultimately finishing as tournament runners-up after falling short against the Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs.

The second-place finish was a great example of the Lady Coyotes’ ability to overcome adversity and keep fighting. Richland Springs leaves the tournament with valuable experience, growing confidence, and plenty of momentum as the Lady Coyotes continue their 2026 volleyball season.
