Approximately 16 volunteers from San Saba Church of Christ began flipping pancakes around 5:30 a.m. on August 5th, to give the school kids a great breakfast to start off their school year.
The volunteers worked hard and finally finished cleaning up around 9 a.m. that morning.
The Back-to-School breakfast was open to all schools and first responders. There were 118 plates of pancakes, sausage and fruit cups served. They also had milk, juice, and coffee.
Even though this is an annual event for San Saba Church of Christ, the event did not take place last year due to flood relief being set up in the fellowship hall/ annex building.
Thank you, volunteers of San Saba Church of Christ for giving our kids a great start to their 2026-2027 school year!
