The first two-a-days of the season, and the kids (and parents/ chaufeaurs) are ready! The athletes met on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6 a.m. for the first morning practice. It was held at the practice field by the high school.
The kids were ready and present at 6 a.m. This means the parents were ready long before that to make sure they had what they needed, they got up that morning and got dressed, ate breakfast, and were ready to leave to get to practice on time. The coaches were also ready and had to arrive much earlier to have everything ready for their new players and the new season of Armadillo football.
