Receipts totaled 4,834 head. The market continued to be active even with the futures board being mixed this last week along with lower bids on fat cattle. The stocker steers rebounded this week selling $10-$15 higher and in some instances $20 higher with 2 steers 610 lbs at $410.00 ($2501.00). The stocker heifers were steady to $5 higher. The feeder steers were $5-$7 lower with 2 steers 790 lbs at $332.00 ($2622.80). The feeder heifers were $6-$7 lower. Packer cows and bulls were steady. Some of the young stocker cows sold $8-$10 higher with 5 wet bag cows open at 1026 lbs $302.50 ($3103.65). Pairs and bred cows were in strong demand on a very active market.
