MOE stands out at “Not on Mother’s Day Shootout” once again

    MOE 7/8 traveled to the Austin Sports Center in Cedar Park Texas on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and picked up their fifth consecutive “Not on Mother’s Day” shootout basketball tournament championship. In the previous years, MOE had tournament championships in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. MOE had wins over Only Us 8th 42-13, led by Greenley Jo Moore with 19 points; Hay Hornets 14U 32--18, led by Moore’s 9 points and Jazmin Reyes with 8 points; and the Llano Crushers 38-22, led by Moore’s 12 points and Khloe Martinez with 11 points; to capture the 8th grade girls division (10 team field) of the tournament.
