The Pierian Study Club of San Saba gathered to kick off their 2026-2027 season on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Wedding Oak Winery event center.
The theme for the event was Red, White, and Blue to commemorate our nation's 250th birthday this year. President Audrey Smith introduced the new 2026-2028 officers, as well as an encouraging and heartfelt reminder of the reason why our club is important for community and welcoming others.
Celia Bell, Historian, recapped the monthly meeting agendas and themes for this coming year. A lovely brunch buffet was provided by the club's Entertainment Committee.
The Pierian Club's scholarship recipients from the San Saba Class of 2026 were announced: Alyssa Torres, Cash Bryant, and Perla Ramirez.
