They have been predicting storms, rain, maybe hail, and possible tornadoes. I laughed to myself because I had just been outside, and not a cloud in the sky. I went to bed and didn’t think anything of it till a few hours later, I was suddenly awakened by lots of thunder and lightning, and rain that we badly needed. But we could surely do without the hail and possible tornadoes.
That experience reminded me of some of the future events the Bible predicts or talks about. Weather forecasters aren’t always right, but the Bible is, 100%. Everything that is predicted will take place. Maybe we don’t know the exact hour or the precise order of events, but they are coming.
Right now, we are in what is called church age; we are to be spreading the message of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28: 18- 20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
A great tribulation time is mentioned, ( Matthew 24:21), the bodily return of Jesus Christ to the earth, ( Acts 1:11), A literal one-thousand-year reign, ( Revelation 20:1-3).
The establishment of one world Church, ( Revelation 17:15-18) a one world government, (Revelation Chapter 18), and a gigantic world war, ( Revelation 20:7-9).
Also as the end times nears people will be lovers of themselves, ( 2 Timothy 3:1-5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.) and there will be wars and rumors of wars, ( Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.)
