The Richland Springs One Act Play company earned top honors at the District 25 UIL One Act Play Contest, held Friday, March 13, in Lometa, with their powerful performance of scenes from The Library by Scott Z. Burns. The victory advances the company to the next round of competition and highlights the hard work and dedication of the student cast and crew.
Several Richland Springs students were also recognized with individual awards for their performances and contributions. Ian McKinnerney received the Best Performer award for his standout role. Maggie Bryant and Paige Bailey were named to the All-Star Cast. Jaspur Farris and Dalton Moats each earned Honorable Mention All-Star Cast honors, while Kasadee Daly was recognized as All-Star Crew for her work behind the scenes.
The Richland Springs One-Act Play company will now advance to the Bi- District competition in Marble Falls on March 31, where they will continue representing their school and community with pride.
