Nancy D. Clark Hicks 83, of Bend Texas passed away December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the San Saba Rehabilitation Facility Nancy was bornAugust 31, 1942, to W.N. and Jessie Clark of Bend. Nancy was a graduate of the class of 1960 at San Saba High School. She later attended Texas Weslyn College and Tarrant County Jr. College in Fort Worth with a degree in accounting. Using her degree, she was employed at Range Air and Alvarado Independent School District as an accountant. Nancy having a desire for helping others, became a Paramedic and served her community for many years. She then joined in the Texas National Guard where she pledged her time diligently. Her true love was with The Texas Ranger Baseball Organization and served for 16 years in guest services .
She was a devout Christian and attended the Church of Christ. She was a doting Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother.
On September 3, 1961, Nancy married John A. Hicks of Bend and had two children: John Hicks Jr. of Bastrop, TX and Jacquline Hicks of Arlington, TX. She was blessed with two grandkids, Christopher Morales of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Morales of Alvarado, TX; two great grandkids, Annabel and Parker Morales of Alvarado, TX; and Carman Morales of Jacksonville, FL, mother of grandkids Christopher and Michael, She was preceded in death by her husband John Hicks, parents WN and Jesse Clark, three sisters, Johnny Keeney of OK, Mary Pike of Midland, TX and Monte Arms of Granbury, TX, and one infant brother, Billy Nolan Clark .
She is survived by brother William and wife, Jane Clark. Five sisters: Pat Henniger, Carrie Keeney, Chee Chee Brockman, Toni and her husband, George Mayben, and Penny Pierce, all of Bend, and many nieces and nephew.
A memorial Service will be held for Nancy on December 13, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at the Bend Community Center at Bend, TX.
