The Junior American Boer Goat Association hosted the Area 5 Regional Show in Comfort, TX on November 14-16.
The show brought 69 competitors from Texas, Florida, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas to compete in various events such as goat judging, public speaking, sales talk and skilla- thon.
Hailing from San Saba, Riley Falkner won the open youth goat judging competition and Gage Falkner was Reserve Champion.
Wiley Murray was Champion Junior in Public Speaking, Sales Talk, and Skill-A-Thon.
Clara Murray was Overall High Point Junior after winning her wether dam class, landing Reserve Champion in Public Speaking, Skill-A-Thon and the Fitting Competition as well as placing 3rd in Showmanship and Goat Judging.
The kids also enjoyed an 8 foot pizza made onsite by Dirt Road Cookers from Hondo, TX.
