Receipts totaled 5,136 head. The market opened up this week with a lower tone with the futures market mostly limit down last Friday and on Monday and also lower on Tuesday but turned positive on Wednesday. The drop was due to the uncertainties of our government policies to lower the price of beef through imports and tariffs.
