Dear Editor:
This year, the Bend Community Center, most commonly known as 'The Schoolhouse,' will host an event on Saturday, October 18th, at 6:00 p.m. A cake decorating contest will begin at 3:00 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, as well as the famous cake auction. The meal will be a catfish fry with all the fixings. The meal will be served at 6:00 p.m.
This will be the 98th year of the Bend School auditorium's use.
Come out for a great time to visit with friends and bid on a homemade cake or bid on a silent auction item.
