Betty Hamrick, 93, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
A graveside service was held on August 28, 2025, in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Betty was born in Lometa, Texas, to Victor and Maud Alice Hail on April 7, 1932. She graduated from Lometa High School and then attended cosmetology school in Fort Worth.
Betty was a Baptist. A beautician for many years, she later went on to be a bookkeeper for Trinity Wood Industries until her retirement on their San Saba ranch. She loved being with her grandkids, gardening and watching the cows on the ranch.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ollon Ray; their daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Conway; her grandson, Gabe Bailey; his daughter, Madeline (Maddie) Bailey; her sister, Fredine Goss; and her brothers, Harold (Hoppy) Hail and Glenn Hail.
Betty is survived by her son, Scotty Hamrick; son, Troy Hamrick and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren: Cary Hamrick, Chelsea Tubbs, Casey Hamrick, and Trace Hamrick; nine great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to a dementia/Alzheimer’s foundation of your choice.
