I'm proud to share that my commemorative Commissioner's map, the Alamo Defenders Heritage Map of Texas, is now available for pre-order.
Since 1954, it has been a proud tradition for each Land Commissioner to have a map made that reflects a theme central to their time in office. It is my honor to continue that tradition with this heritage map inspired by a pivotal piece of Texas history, the Alamo.

This map illustrates the origin of the 189 Alamo Defenders, who came from across the state and the world but were united behind one sacred cause: freedom.
Displaying the various land grants of the Alamo Defenders across the Lone Star State, this map shows that no matter where our journey begins, all Texans are connected to the legacy of the Alamo.
I hope this map serves as a physical reminder of the bravery and the camaraderie shown by the Defenders of the Alamo, and that it inspires you and your family as much as it inspires me.
