Meet the Principal

Mrs. Wilson, our new District Principal, has been in the education system for over 30 years. She brings experience and accolades in multiple fields.

She has been Coach of the Year for West Texas after she took her softball team to State. She was Teacher of the Year for Region 18, Special Programs Coordinator, District Science Fair Coordinator. She was a principal for all levels of education including DAEP and Alternative On-Line School Comal ISD.

The experience she brings to our district checks many of the boxes our school district needs to address.

Mrs. Wilson has a M.Ed. in School Administration, a M.Ed. in Counseling and a B.Sc in Sports Science and Biology.

Her most recent job was Assistant Principal in the Brady ISD system. She has worked with the following school districts: Brady, Comal, Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Monahans, Kermit, and Pecos.

Her rich experience as a teacher, coach, counselor, and academic dean have equipped her to be a strong guiding hand for Richland Springs ISD.

On a personal note, Mrs. Wilson has been married to Quinn Wilson for 36 years. They have two children and four grandchildren. Her passion for education is apparent in all she does.

She is a mentor for young teachers and coaches and encourages students to excel to the best of their ability. Her lengthy list of accomplishments will strengthen our school district. Welcome, Mrs. Wilson.
