On February 17th, at 2 p.m. the Friends of the Rylander Memorial Library will welcome Brenda Etheridge Ferguson, writer, librarian, and educator at the high school and university levels, to their annual membership meeting.
Each year on the third Monday in February, the Friends of the Rylander hold their annual membership meeting. At this meeting, which is open to the whole community, there is a very brief business meeting where board members are introduced, and a financial report is available. The rest of the meeting is dedicated to our guest author.
Brenda’s first novel was released last February. “Ranch Girl and the Orphaned Lamb Adventure” is about Kelsi, a 4th grader who lives on a central Texas ranch as Mrs. Ferguson now does. Her second, “Ranch Girl and a Boy named Toby,” will be released on March 4th. Please come and hear Brenda discuss her books. Following her talk, refreshments will be served as you visit with Brenda. She will have copies of her first book available.
