Alice in Wonder Land

I am writing this on Sunday, January 5th. I didn't go to church today because of the weather conditions. More snow is on the way, and it's winter in Ohio. I am content and prepared to stay inside except to feed the birds and cancel my dentist appointment on Monday.

Margie Wagner called me on Tuesday, December 31st. She remembered that my husband Larry (1940-2020) made jalepeno poppers for their Christmas family get-together we were invited to and happy to attend. That made me hungry for the poppers so I went to the store and bought the ingredients. I made them and took them to my daughter Jenny's the next day. It was great starting a new year with such a tasty memory.

Another great start for 2025 was talking to Audrey Lowe. We talked for 1 ½ hours about the past, present and future. The 'icing on the cake' that day was Ohio State University beat the #1 college team that had defeated them during the season. My loyalty to OSU is graduates two daughters, two sons-in-law and my granddaughter and her husband. GO BUCKS!

The 2025 Daily Wisdom For Women, January 1st, asks this question: 'Are you ready to go deeper in your faith this new year?' I will need the Holy Spirit to help me to grow in faith and know what plans God has for me.

Psalm 5:8...NLT...Lead me in the right path, O Lord...Make Your way plain for me to follow.
