The first potluck fundraiser for the Richland Springs Preservation Society was a huge success.
Many hungry folks came hungry to the Richland Springs Community Center at noon last Saturday. There was a choice of stew, chili, or soup with all the fixings.
The meal was donation only, and $1,300 was raised towards our goal. We are submitting grant requests as well to help us get a roof on the bank. We need a roof before we can move on to the inside. Mark your calendars for February 16th. That will be our next potluck. See y'all then.
