The students of San Saba Elementary made the goal of helping local cancer victims through donating money to the San Saba County Never Surrender Cancer Foundation (NSCF). The students exceeded their goal by collecting $2,002!
The students also had a contest to see which grade level could collect the most money. The kindergarten students (Class of 2026) collected the most money in the amount of $749.28. Way to go, Little Dillos! Thank you for being so kind to help others beat cancer!
The entire student body presented a big check to the NSCF representatives, Dora Miller and Donna Shahan, at an assembly on Wednesday, October 23, in the elementary gym.
Thank you to these wonderful ladies for leading us in a “BEAT CANCER” cheer and for helping our local victims of cancer!
