Receipts totaled 973 head with no sale at Mason due to Labor Day and were reduced due to the 3 to 6 inches or more of rain that fell in the area. The stocker steers were steady with 17 steers 472 lbs at $316.00 ($1491.52) and 17 steers 556 lbs at $281.00 ($1562.36). The stocker heifers were $4-$5 higher. The feeder steers were steady to $4-$5 higher with 6 steers 739 lbs at $235.00 ($1736.65) and 5 steers 824 lbs at $220.00 ($1812.80). The feeder heifers were $7-$8 higher with 2 heifers 770 lbs at $225.00 ($1732.50). The packer cows were $2-$3 higher, and packer bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were in good demand and steady on a limited test.
