How wonderful to talk to Connie Gonzales when she called last week. Connie was young when her family came to Ohio from Mexico to work in fields and pick crops. She has good memories of working with her nine sisters and three brothers and going to the movies after working. Oh how great it is to share our lives and focus on the good times!
The news shared today nationwide is the attempt to kill former President Trump. The news compares this with other attempts and killing of our presidents. No doubt that this attempt was mentioned at church the next day because it was mentioned and prayed about the situation at Northgate Dresden. It is very important to be able to talk and share bad, sad or good news. It helps emotionally and mentally. I called my neighbor Bernice, friend Debbie Miller, and daughter Jenny. The most important One I talked to about this was God.
